The Elmhurst Jaycees are proud to announce that the recipient of the 66th annual Elmhurst Jaycees Distinguished Service Award (“DSA”) is Elmhurst resident Cathy Jordan.

First given in 1950, this annual award is the Jaycees’ way of recognizing a citizen for his/her long-term dedication to making Elmhurst a better community.

Cathy has been a prominent figure in the Elmhurst community for more than 45 years.  Her activities have all been directed to improve the quality of life in the Elmhurst community through her philanthropic work for several charities and organizations including the district 205 School, Elmhurst YMCA, Elmhurst Senior Citizen Commission, Elmhurst Heritage Foundation, and Elmhurst History Museum.
