ELSA-Palooza X Celebrates 10th Anniversary on April 10
ELSA-Palooza, an annual celebration of the Elmhurst Learning and Success Academy (ELSA), will mark its 10th anniversary on April 10. ELSA-Palooza X will feature students showing off projects they’ve been working on, information on the ELSA program, student-led tours of the campus and ELSA classrooms, and a performance by The Naturals, a Chicago-area band created by Maurice Snell and Terry Bracey, who both are autistic. ELSA is an on-campus, four-year post-secondary certificate program for students age 18 to 28 with differing abilities. The program follows the College’s academic year, and students can live on campus. Students may take courses in the fall, January, spring and summer terms, and on either a full-time or part-time basis. ELSA-Palooza X will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, in the Founders Lounge of the Frick Center (190 Prospect Ave., Elmhurst, elmhurst.edu/campusmap). Admission is free and all are welcome. To RSVP, call (630) 617-3300 or email elsa@elmhurst.edu.
