Elmhurst, IL – GreenMan Theatre will hold auditions in August for the award winning play, “The Diary of Anne Frank.” "The Diary of Anne Frank" tells the true story of two Jewish families in Amsterdam, hiding from the Nazis during World War Two. Anne's diary was saved by one of the Frank family's helpers, and is now one of the most widely read books ever and has been translated into over 70 languages. The play, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, has been newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman.
