Elmhurst College is a leading four-year college that seamlessly blends liberal learning and professional preparation to educate the whole student for life in a global society. Approximately 3,300 full- and part-time students are enrolled in its 25 undergraduate academic departments and more than 17 graduate degree programs.
Graduate and degree completion programs for adults are housed in the School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College, which is dedicated to providing high-quality education to working adults and those whose life commitments have precluded higher education.
Elmhurst is one of the top 10 colleges in the Midwest, according to U.S. News & World Report, and it also ranks 4th among the best values in the region. With more than 60 undergraduate majors and 16 graduate programs, Elmhurst boasts a student-to-faculty ratio of just 13 to 1. In small classes, professors get to know their students as individuals.
For the 12th year in a row, Elmhurst College has been named one of the Princeton Review’s “Best in the Midwest” schools. Students in this ranking describe Elmhurst as “the perfect blend of big city access and small (but not too small) campus atmosphere.” They also said the College offers “great financial aid” and “endless opportunities for scholarships, mentorships, internships, research, and so much more.”
