ELMHURST CHAMBER NAMES SANCHEZ
AS AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR

ELMHURST, Ill., January 10, 2017 – Real Estate Broker James Sanchez of Coldwell Banker in downtown Elmhurst will be honored as 2016 Ambassador of the Year at the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s 98th Annual Awards Gala at The Drake Oak Brook Hotel in Oak Brook on Friday, January 27, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The award is presented annually to a member of the green-coated Chamber Ambassadors for his/her outstanding service.

“It’s rare for someone new to our Ambassador team to earn this award,” said John R. Quigley, the Chamber’s President and CEO since 1999, “but James is a most deserving recipient given his complete commitment as a green coat.”

A first-year Ambassador, Sanchez became a Chamber member in June of 2015, along with his mother, Eva, a Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker since 1996.  His mother was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Prior to teaming up with his mother, Sanchez spent four years in the banking industry, serving at Fifth Third Bank in Bloomingdale as a Customer Service Representative (2013-15) and Charter One Bank in Elmhurst as a Teller (2012-13).

Sanchez earned an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree (2013) from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn.

He and his wife, Daniela, reside in Bellwood.
