DESCRIPTION:Come and join the churches of Elmhurst in celebrating the Week of Christian Unity with an Ecumenical Worship Service Tuesday\, January 24\, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church (UMC)\, Elmhurst. The Church is located at 232 S. York Road\, the Northwest corner of Church Street and York Road in Elmhurst.\n\n\n\nRev. Beth Dickerson\, St. Peter's United Church of Christ (UCC)\, and Rev. Stephen Martz\, Elmhurst's Church of Our Saviour\, will preside.\n\n\n\nFather Tony Taschetta from Mary Queen of Heaven Roman Catholic Church will deliver the homily\,  and The Men of Spirito! will perform 2 songs. After the service\, hospitality will be provided by Elmhurst Walk-In Ministry (EWIM).\n\n\n\nEveryone in the community is invited to attend. The various churches usually worship separately\, but they share a common gospel and mission. The January 24 service will celebrate that mission and is designed to strengthen their unity by coming together. The global theme for this year is "We Will All Be Changed."
