DESCRIPTION:As part of our Professional Speaker Seminar Series\, Assistant Head of Adult Services Bryan Blank of the Elmhurst Public Library and Dinah Ramirez of Cengage Learning will present a one-hour seminar on the use DemographicsNOW for online searches of business and people demographics.\n\n\n\nAttendance will be free to Chamber members and special guests\, with food and beverages provided. \n\n\n	\n		Elmhurst Public Library offers a slew of business and investing resources that are available 24/7 from their website with an Elmhurst Library car.  For this session\, we will focus on DemographicsNOW:  Business & People.  This demographics tool leverages multiple data sources to help users assess business viability\, create sales leaders and/or marketing mailing list\, analyze trends in a given population\, and find potential sponsors and donors to grow a nonprofit.  The data sources include consumer expenditures\, retail spending\, census date and MOSAIC lifestyle market segmentation classifications.  With DemographicsNOW\,users can create detailed reports and maps to help them access the knowledge they need to make informed business decisions.
