DESCRIPTION:This 5K benefits the hungry at home and abroad.  Thanks to the support of our sponsors\, all runners' fees go directly to feed the hungry of eastern DuPage County\, the greater Chicago area and the World.  The course is USATF certified and winds through the tree-lined streets of south Elmhurst.  All participants receive a custom-designed T-shirt\, a "goody bag" and post-race refreshments.  There are raffle prizes as well.  Unique awards for both men and women will be given out in 8 age categories.  Following the 5K there will be a "Kids 1/2 mile Fun Run" with each participant receiving a T-shirt and Ribbon.
