DESCRIPTION:Elmhurst District 205 administrators will discuss two aspects of the federal government's role in public education and their impact on Elmhurst schools: \n\n Dr. Charles Johns\, Assistant Superintended for Curriculum and Instruction\, will discuss Common Core Standards\, a national movement to bring consistency and rigor to K-12 public school students. \n\n Assistant Superintendet for Finance\, Mr. Christopher Whelton\, will address school funding and equity issues. \n\n The program is free and open to the public.
