Through a series of events\, he ends up meeting The Artful Dodger?who invites him to consider himself at home?and is introduced by Dodger to a pickpocket named Fagin. After seeing both the cruelties and beauty of life\, Oliver eventually finds a family and discovers what it means to truly be home.
