DESCRIPTION:Join us for "America's Challenges: At Home and Abroad\," Thursday\, April 9\, 2015\, from 11:30 a.m.to 2:00 p.m.\, at Drury Lane Conference Center\, Oakbrook Terrace\, Illinois. \n\n\n\nThe Elmhurst College Governmental Forum is one of the region's most widely respected venues for the discussion of vital economic and governance issues facing Illinois. In previous years\, the Governmental Forum has welcomed former Illinois governors Jim Edgar and James Thompson\, Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives Michael J. Madigan and Business Roundtable President John Engler\, among many others. This year the forum is titled America's Challenges: At Home and Abroad. The featured speaker is U.S. Senator Mark Kirk\, the Republican senator from Illinois. Moderating the discussion is Chicago Tribune Editorial Page Editor Bruce Dold.\n\n\n\nTickets are $40 per person (includes networking and lunch) and may be purchased at www.elmhurst.edu/tix.
