DESCRIPTION:Make tax-deductible donations to the ECCI Centennial Celebration NFP Second Century Fund in support of the construction of the York Community High School Memorial To The Fallen in honor of the 114 alumni who gave their lives in service to our country dating back to World War II.\n\n\n\nA fundraising goal of $30\,000 has been set to build a memorial at the site of the current auditorium hallway plaque donated by York's Class of 1985.\n\n\n\n\n\nMajor Krause was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for heroism as a flight engineer on a B-29 heavy bomber during a December 17\, 9144\, raid over Tokyo when his airplane was rammed by three Japanese fighters and he remained on board to stabilize the stricken aircraft while his fellow crew members parachuted out.  His bomber shot down nine of the more than 30 enemy fighters attacking the American squadron.
