Since 1991, Chamber members have  treated teachers new to Elmhurst’s public and private schools to a tasty lunch and one-on-one conversation — a welcoming practice now imitated by other chambers. Under our unique format, sponsors talk with their respective teacher during lunch and then introduce him or her to the  entire room. Along with goodie bags filled with  member donations, our red - carpet  treatment introduces our new teachers  to the Elmhurst business community in the most favorable light.
