"A Woman's Worth: Building Intergenerational Wealth" Multi-Chamber Luncheon

In honor of National Women's Small Business Month, Charisse Conanan Johnson, Managing Partner for Next Step, will deliver the Keynote Address on "A Woman's Worth:  Building Intergeneration Wealth" at a Multi-Chamber Luncheon organized by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Key Learnings for Attendees:
*  Understanding the rolw of female generations before and after us in propelling forward small business
*  Key statistics on historical inequities and state of small business, especially those owned by women (globally, women and women of color)
*  Case studies of small business intergenerational wealth transfer
*  Concrete strategies and solutions that advance intergenerational wealth


In addition to managing Next Step, Charisse recently authored a book, "Wealthy Girl," https://www.charissesays.com/a-wealthy-girl, in which she provides seven key steps to live a wealthy life and shares openly about her wealth building journey with a common sense approach, grit and dozens of great tips to implement immediately.

The first 150 registrants will receive a signed copy of her book.

About the Next Step
Next Street (https://nextstreet.com/about-us/) is a mission-driven firm that mobilizes capital, customers and capabilities to small businesses and entrepreneurs that have been systemically held back, including but not limited to women and minorities.  Next Street works with foundations, government, corporations and CDFIs for a better future for small business.  Their work is anchored in the belief that small businesses are the drivers of economic and community development and the engines of inclusive growth.
