Care for the Caregiver Seminar
Terra Vista is hosting a FREE, informative seminar, "Care for the Caregiver", on Wednesday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. This seminar is open to the public and we encourage anyone who is interested in learning about Alzheimer's care issues to join us. The seminar will be presented by Executive Director, Natalie McFarland, RN, BSN and Dementia Care Educator. Some of the areas that McFarland will cover are:
- An overview of dementia
- How to handle difficult questions/situations with the person with Alzheimer's
- Tips on caring for yourself as a caregiver
The seminar will be held at the Terra Vista Information Office located at 100 E. Roosevelt Rd., Suite 35 (Nest to Outback Steakhouse), Villa Park, IL 60181
