Start your 2009 holiday season on a high note with the award-winning Sweet Adelines chorus, Choral-Aires Chorus, and the Brotherhood of Harmony chorus, as they present two concerts titled "Christmas Around the World" with unmatched talent and sound. The concerts are offered at 3 and 7 p.m., Saturday, December 19, at the Harper College auditorium (1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, Ill.). Women enthusiastic about singing and performing are encouraged to join the Chorus for the Christmas concert. The group is hosting guest nights to prepare for the concert during its weekly practices now through December 14, each Monday from 7-10 p.m. at Elmhurst Presbyterian Church (367 Spring Road, Elmhurst).
