Another day off school and the kids have nothing to do? Stop by Elmhurst Historical Museum on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 1 to 3 p.m. for a special family craft activity. During this Day Off? Drop In! Workshop, children will add a personal touch to a customized Hand Print Tile. Each participant will use paints to imprint a ceramic tile with their own hand print to create a memorable keepsake that can be displayed and saved for years to come.
The craft program will be held in the museum?s Education Center, located just south of the Glos Mansion at 120 E. Park Ave. in Elmhurst. Participants age four to 12 may drop in any time from 1 to 3 p.m. An adult must accompany children. No reservations are required, and the cost is $2 per project.
