The March 2015 Educator's Forum features a variety of professional development workshops designed for licensed educators. Agenda 8:30 a.m., Registration and a light breakfast 9:00 a.m., Sessions A1, B1 and C1 Begin 10:45 a.m., Sessions A2, B2 and C2 Begin Each workshop will earn licensed educators 1.5 hours of professional development. Elmhurst College is an approved provider of State of Illinois professional development. State documentation for these professional development hours will be provided free of charge to licensed teachers. Workshop topics will include: Science Education Workshops Session A1 - Understanding the Framework for K-12 Science Education and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Session A2 -Planning High Quality Instruction with the NGSS Co-Teaching Workshops* Session B1 - The Eectiveness of the Co-Teaching Model, Part I Session B2 - The Eectiveness of the Co-Teaching Model Part II *Participants must complete Session B1 prior to attending Session B2. Innovative Practice Workshops Session C1 - Using Video to Improve Practice & Mentoring Session C2 - Implementing and Improving Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) Win door prizes at each workshop!
