Elmhurst art exhibit showcases Chicago-area artists

Chicago-area artists are exhibiting some of their newest works in the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild Summer Member Show, running from July 3 through August 12 in the EAG Gallery at the Elmhurst Art Museum, 150 S. Cottage Hill Ave., Elmhurst, Illinois. A reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the gallery Friday, July 8 from 7 to 9 pm.  

The exhibition can be viewed during regular Museum hours, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm and Friday from 11 am to 7 pm. The first Friday of each month is the Museum’s free admission day. At other times, admission for adults is $8 and for seniors $7. EAM and Guild members, students and children under 18 are admitted free.
