Elmhurst Choral Union & Orchestra: Make We Merry
Elmhurst Choral Union and Orchestra present "Make We Merry" vibrant Christmas music from the 1500?s to the present day. The concert features "Stella Natalis" by Karl Jenkins, the world's most recorded living classical composer. Also included are short works by Sweelinck, Corelli, Vaughan Williams, William Billings, and John Rutter. The singers are accompanied by a professional orchestra and directed by James MacDonald. Tickets are $25 adults, $23 seniors, and $10 youth. Tickets are available at elmhurstchoralunion.org, 800-838-3006, or at the door. Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding auditioned choir, performing choral masterworks of all eras.
