Immaculate Conception High School Knights Theatre Productions is proud to present VIOLET. VIOLET is a wonderful story about a young woman named Violet who has to learn to live with a horrendous scar on her face as a result of an accident. The story follows Violet as she embarks on a journey by bus from her North Carolina farm to Tulsa, Oklahoma in an effort to be healed. After its premiere Off-Broadway in 1997, VIOLET has long been regarded as one of the best “not-well-known” musicals in the musical theatre canon. The production features music by Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie and Shrek) with libretto by Brian Crawley and is based on the short story "The Ugliest Pilgrim" by Doris Betts.
Performances of VIOLET will be held in Monsignor Plunkett Hall (lower level of IC Chapel) located at 130 Arthur Street in Elmhurst. For ticket reservations, please call (630) 530-3460. Ticket prices are $10 for Adults, $8 for Senior Citizens, and $7 for High School Students and Children.
