Bill Scherr, Director of Sport, Chicago 2016 and Chairman, World Sport Chicago will represent Chicago 2016, the organization bidding for the privilege of hosting the 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Chicago. In his role as director of sport Scherr focuses on building relationships with international, national and local sport federations to ensure sport is represented throughout the Chicago 2016 bid. In addition, he leads all athlete-related activities, including athlete relations and coordination, and acts as a liaison between the bid and Olympic athletes in support of Chicago 2016.
