Emily Bear, an eight year old piano prodigy from Rockford Illinois, is to perform in concert along with Music at Bethel's own Artistic Director, Jeffrey Panko in a program entitled "Parisian Masterpieces: Piano Works by Chopin and Ravel". Panko will present favorite selections including the monumental Sonata No. 3 in B minor by Chopin and Ravel's famous Jeux d'eau among others.
The concert is on Sunday, February 7 at 3 pm at Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 East St. Charles Road in Elmhurst. Immediately following the performance, audience members are invited to join us for a Meet the Artist dinner at The Standard Restaurant.
