"The Secret Garden" at GreenMan Theatre
GreenMan Theatre's Showcase production of The Secret Garden is set to open on Friday April 5. This world premiere adaptation by playwright and director Linda Roberts brings a new perspective to the classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Orphan Mary Lennox comes to live with her uncle in England following the death of her parents. She learns to cope with the loss with the help of newly found friends. A garden locked behind a gate holds wonders for her, and she is determined to gain entry. What she finds in the secret garden allows her and others in the household to experience the joy of hope and rebirth.
