Three Chicago-based, Latino artists will exhibit their works on paper this fall at Elmhurst College. Herman Aguirre, Javier Chavira and Gabriel Villa are stylistically diverse artists who work in a variety of media. Each artist expresses a very personal vision. Aguirre’s images are concerned with issues of loss and human fragility. Chavira’s drawings reference nature and celebrate the beauty of abstraction. Villa’s works portray the struggle of everyday life and the human condition.
