About Us

The District 205 Foundation for Educational Excellence was created in 1989 as a vehicle to provide supplementary funds for educational programs and enhancements that enhance the educational experience of students in the Elmhurst Public Schools. The Foundation has raised and awarded more than tow million dollars in educational grants through the Theims Grants Program,instructional programs through the Study Skills Academies at the elementary and middle schools, community partnerships that enhance facilities and student extracurricular activities and fees at York High School, and specific targeted projects that support district initiatives.
