About Us

For 42 years, Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry has offered food, compassion, and hope to our neighbors in need. From our humble beginning out of a church closet to an independent non-profit with two locations, our ability to grow is the direct result of our generous Elmhurst community.

Each month, we serve over 800 households needing food assistance. Since 2022, the increase is almost 73%. Long lines grace every food distribution shift while our volunteers hustle to serve everyone with dignity. We are pleased to offer each household a wide variety of shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, dairy products, frozen meats, and personal care products.
