Featuring Rika Seko on violin, Katherine Carter on violin, Josefien Stoppelenburg soprano, Stephen Alltop on harpsichord and conductor, and musicians of the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra.
A not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear renowned Dutch soprano Josefien Stoppelenburg in Handel's brilliant Gloria. Re-discovered in the year 2000, this showpiece includes some of the composer's most virtuosic coloratura passages. The concert includes Handel's lovely German arias and Haydn's Concerto for Violin and Harpsichord.
