Community members are invited to an evening of music, entertainment and refreshment during a free, special event held by the Choral-Aires Chorus, at 7:05 p.m., Monday, May 2. The award-winning Sweet Adelines Chorus is hosting a "Quartet Send Off" at the Redeemer Lutheran Church Recreation Center (345 S. Kenilworth Avenue, Elmhurst), in preparation of regional competition, held in May.

The night promises excellent and varied music packages performed by six quartets Reverb, Brilliance, On Q, Pipe Dreams, Roxy and Knee Deep, and the Chorus. With all participants preparing for competition, they are ready to wow audience members with their energy, dynamic harmonies, and their tightly choreographed moves.

More than 100 women from Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin sing tight harmonies a capella (without instrumentation) with the Choral-Aires Chorus, the 2008 Lake Michigan Region 3 Champion with the Sweet Adelines International.
