The Choral-Aires Chorus celebrates 50 years as a Sweet Adelines International chorus with a show, "Celebrate the Good Times" at 3 and 7 p.m., Saturday, October 9. The shows, held at the Prairie Center for the Arts (201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg, Ill.), are open to the public. More than 100 women from Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin sing tight harmonies a capella (without instrumentation) with the Choral-Aires Chorus, the 2008 Lake Michigan Region 3 Champion with the Sweet Adelines International.
