Elmhurst Choral Union Performs "Spiritual Romantics"
Elmhurst Choral Union and Orchestra perform moving portrayals of divine and human love on Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhrust College.
A full professional orchestra and soloists join the ECU for spiritually infuenced works by Wagner and Bruckner, under the direction of James MacDonald.
The ensemble will perform Bruckner's Mass number 1, and works by Wagner: Pilgrim's Chorus from Tannhauser, opening chorale from Die Meistersinger, and the Prelude to Tristan and Isolde.

Shuttle bus service from the college parking lot on Alexander Boulevard wil be available.
Elmhurst Choral Union is in its 60th anniversary season of performing classical masterworks and great choral music of all eras. The concert is funded in part by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
