Free Electronics Recycling Event First Congregational United Church of Christ 235 South Kenilworth, Elmhurst, IL 60126 Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 to 12:00 Among the items accepted are: computers, monitors, laptops, mainframes, hard drives, docking stations, servers, printers, fax and copy machines, scanners, televisions, stereos, CD players, radios, tape players, VCR's, microwaves, small household appliances such as curling irons, toasters, blenders, and vacuum cleaners with the dust bags removed, telephones, cell phones, household and rechargeable batteries, power and network cables, and toner/ink cartridges. Unacceptable items include those that contain radioactive material, mercury and Freon such as smoke alarms, thermostats and air conditioners. Car batteries will also not be accepted.
