Kay McKeen founder and executive director of DuPage County SCARCE
Kay will share some easy ways to make your home "greener" and healthier. In 2010, Kay was featured on NBC Nightly News Making a Difference Segment with Brian Williams, in the Daily Herald for green education, and in an ABC Live Green Segment with Hosea Sanders featuring the Book Rescue Program. As a non-for-profit organization, SCARCE (School & Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education) has been recognized locally and statewide with numerous awards for its innovative environmental education programs. We are fortunate to have Kay McKeen as speaker for our spring 2011 "Green Team" educational program for First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Elmhurst community. Everyone is welcome.
