Run for Hunger
The Run for Hunger 5K and 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run is back for its fifth consecutive year. The Run benefits local food pantries, with all runners fees going directly to feed the hungry. The course is USATF certified and winds through the tree-lined streets of south Elmhurst. All participants receive a custom-designed T-shirt, a "goody bag", post-race refreshments and a chance to win great raffle prizes. Unique awards for both men and women will be given out in 8 age categories. Following the 5K at 8:45am there will be a "Kid's ½ mile Fun Run" with each participant receiving a T-shirt and Ribbon. Participation averages 350 runners and walkers.

Race starts near the corner of York & Lexington in South Elmhurst.
Fees/Admission
$25 for non-CARA, $23 for CARA members before 7/18
$30 after 7/18 and day of the Race
$10 Kids 1/2 Mile
