Spanish Wine + Tapas Pairing event at Flight 112 Wine House
Join us for a 5-course Spanish Wine + Tapas pairing, with a wine tasting and an informal discussion led by Robert Houde (former Sommelier of Charlie Trotter restaurants, and current President of Garnacha Wines Ltd.).
7 - 7:30pm Check-in/Wine Tasting (taste 8 Spanish wines at our bar)
7:30 - 8:30pm Wine + Tapas pairing with informal presentation with each course.
First Course: Fresh, steamed mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce - Paired with La Cana Albarino
Second Course: Smoked duck, medjool dates, crumbled manchego - Paired with Tres Picos Garnacha
Third Course: Roasted chicken seasoned with garlic and parsley, served over saffron rice - Paired with Altos de Luzon Monastrell
Fourth Course: Flash-fried manchego cheese with fresh lemon wedge - Paired with Volver Tempranillo
Fifth Course: Cream cheese flan with fresh raspberries - Paired with Jorge Ordonez Moscatel dessert wine
Flight 112 Wine House focuses on wines that are organic/bio-dynamic, and we offer a small plates menu with items that are organic and locally sourced. We will feature items from our menu, in addition to special creations that compliment the wines we will be tasting that evening. All wines are available for retail purchase also.
